Giving Hope After a Tornado Tragedy

Mr. Hart came to NeedLink Nashville in desperate need of assistance with his electricity deposit. He was displaced after a recent tornado destroyed his home, and he had completely depleted his savings replacing items lost in the storm. He recently found an apartment that he could afford, paid the security deposit, but needed a little help with the NES deposit. NeedLink Nashville was able to step in and take care of his deposit. He has now moved into his new home and is able to start rebuilding what he lost. (February 2025).
Enabling an Older Adult to Remain at Home

Ms. Felt, a disabled senior, sought help from NeedLink after falling behind on her rent due to a series of unfortunate events. Frequent hospitalizations, including several days in the ICU, coupled with out-of-pocket medical expenses, strained her finances. Additionally, unexpected car repairs added to her burden. Amidst this period of intense financial stress, NeedLink stepped in to assist with her rent, ensuring she remained housed during these challenging times. (April 2025).
Helping a Single Father in Crisis

Mr. Wright, a single father of a teen daughter, suffered a spinal injury in a hit-and-run accident and was later hospitalized with heart failure. The medical expenses overwhelmed his budget, and he fell behind on his gas bill. NeedLink paid the past-due amount, preventing disconnection and giving he and his daughter stability during an incredibly difficult time. (May 2025).
Giving A Mom a Chance to Focus on Healing

Erin is a loving wife and mother of two who lost her job while facing a cancer. While battling cancer, her husband Ryan lost his job too after COVID forced the close of his employer. Facing new financial crisis, Erin & Ryan came to NeedLink Nashville. With our help, their utility bills were caught up and Erin could get back to focusing on beating cancer with Ryan’s support. (June 2025).
